Erika McInerney

GIPPSLAND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM MANAGER

Since early 2016 Erika has been using her knowledge and experience in marketing to coach and mentor small businesses and community organisations. She is particularly passionate about strengthening regional and rural communities through digital upskilling and has made significant inroads to that end across Gippsland.

A natural and passionate leader, she co-founded the Warragul Farmers Market in 2013 and Binary Shift Conference in 2017 and has volunteered her time and skills to community organisations and events across the region. In 2018 she was awarded the Weekly Times Shine Award for passion for her commitment to community.

Erika grew up in the Latrobe Valley and returned in 2011 to Warragul to raise her family. She holds a BA in Media & Comms, a Masters of Marketing, a Certificate in CX and is working on a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment. She also has over 25 years experience working in advertising and marketing.

Erika is a GCLP alumnus from 2017 and is looking forward to shaping and working on the program that she so thoroughly enjoyed.
